Does A Tattoo Hurt?
Unfortunately no tattoo is painless. All tattoos hurt to some degree, but that degree really depends on the person getting it. More likely than not, you’ll just feel an annoying pain. Most people come into a tattoo thinking it is going to be the worst pain they ever felt and realize shortly after that it was not even close to what they were thinking.

How Old Do I Have To Be To Get Tattooed?
At our shop you need to be 18 years of age or older, no exceptions. We require proof of age in the form of a state issued photo ID for every customer that walks through the doors.

How Much Does A Tattoo Cost?
Size, detail, and placement on the body are the main factors that determine cost. Please call us for pricing information or visit us to make an appointment so we can discuss your design. A deposit is required to reserve a tattoo appointment and are only refundable if you call to cancel your appointment at least 24 hours beforehand.

How Long Does A Tattoo Take?
Again size and detail are the main factors in how long a certain tattoo takes. Just because a tattoo is small does not mean it will be done in a few minutes. The same goes for larger tattoos. The more lines, color or shading that goes into a tattoo, the longer it takes. Placement on the body as well as a person’s skin can effect time. Some skin types take in the pigment faster and easier than others.

Is Everything Sterile?
We use single use, disposable inks and needles. Anything that is to be touched during the tattoo process is covered in disposable plastic bags or film. After each tattoo everything is disposed of and our workstation and machines are thoroughly cleaned with germicidal wipes. The grips and tubes, if not disposable, are cleaned in an ultrasonic cleaner, placed in sterile pouches and steam sterilized using an autoclave.

6. Can I Have A Custom Tattoo Drawn Up?
We can draw up any tattoo idea that you may have. Please come into our studio to discuss your ideas with one of our artists. There may be a drawing fee artwork that is larger or very time consuming, but most tattoos can be drawn while you wait to be tattooed. Once this drawing is started, there is no refund and it also does not go toward the final price of the tattoo. Your finished art will be a tattoo ready outline, not a full color design. Colors are discussed when the work begins. We do not draw tattoos that we are not going to tattoo. We do not send out our artwork or allow it to leave the shop. You may also bring in your own design. Almost anything you wish to be tattooed can be done.

7. How Do I Make An Appointment?
To make an appointment you must come into the shop, show us what you’re planning to get (so we know how much time to set aside for you) and also you must leave a deposit. Deposits are refundable only if you call and cancel your appointment at least 24 hours before your scheduled time. If you are out of town, you can call to make an appointment at least 2-3 weeks prior to the date you would like. Then we require that you mail in a deposit. Again deposits are refundable only if you call and cancel your appointment at least 24 hours before your scheduled time.

Laser Tattoo Removal F.A.Q.

How Does Laser Tattoo Removal Work?
Our lasers produce a beam of light that is absorbed by particular color of the tattoo ink. The ink gets broken down into tiny particles which are gradually removed through body’s lymphatic system. The tattoo fades away between each consequent treatment.

How Much Does Laser Tattoo Removal Cost?
A consultation is free. During the initial consultation our Certified Laser Operators will evaluate your skin and examine your tattoo. We will discuss treatment details and will answer any questions you may have. Our pricing starts our very reasonable and increases with the size of the tattoo.

How Many Treatments Will I Need To Remove My Tattoo?
A typical laser tattoo removal requires 3 — 12 treatments. Amateur tattoos are easier to remove then professional, multi color ones. Other factors that determine treatment efficacy include: age of the tattoo, tattoo colors, the type of ink used and your body’s individual response.

How Often Do I Need To Come In For A Follow-Up?
The follow-up treatments are scheduled 6-8 weeks apart. After each treatment the tattoo ink is gradually expelled by body’s natural filtering system, with each treatment the tattoo color will continue to fade until final results are achieved.

Does Laser Tattoo Removal hurt?
Most clients describe the sensation from the laser tattoo removal like a rubber band snapping quickly on your skin. For client comfort, we use our state-of-the-art air-cooling system. This Sub-zero skin cooling provides added comfort and protection during the procedure.

What Will My Skin Look Like After Each Treatment?
Your skin will most likely be red and feel like it has mild sunburn. This typically goes away after a couple of hours. At times and with certain inks, there may be mild blistering. After each treatment you will be given detailed instructions on how to care for tattoo removal.
