Burning Phoenix Studio is owned and operated by Dennis Gladwell. Established in May of 2019, Burning Phoenix Studio emerged from Dennis’ previous partnership in the same location. Dennis Gladwell has been tattooing the community of Westchester county and beyond since July 1993 and has been at this present location since November 1998. Always looking to build a strong customer base on the best possible work he can deliver. This is a philosophy he, and all his staff members believe in.
TATTOOING
We strive continuously to bring top quality artists to the community of Westchester, and beyond. Using state of the art tools of the trade, in a sterile, private, environment, we give all our clients the safety as well as the artwork they deserve. We cover all styles of tattooing. Color, Black and Gray, Realism, Traditional, Japanese, Watercolor, Lettering. Any style you can think of.

With decades of experience our Body Piercing is second to none. Done in our private piercing room where comfort and placement are as much as a priority as cleanliness. To compliment your new body piercing, we offer a large range of body jewelry.
LASER SKIN TREATMENTS
Our Certified Laser Technicians offer a wide range of Laser Skin Treatments, using our Q-Switched Nd:YAG laser technology. From Tattoo Removal, Skin Rejuvenation, Acne Treatments, Freckle and Mole Removal, Skin Discoloration, Stretch Marks, and more.
CUSTOM TATTOOING
Color, Black and Gray, Realism, Traditional, Japanese, Watercolor, Lettering. Any style you can think of. We can draw up any tattoo in any style that you would like. Simply come to our location with your ideas, photos, or any reference you may have. For large drawings there is a drawing fee and may take a couple of days to complete, but most of the time your tattoo can be drawn up while you wait.
BODY PIERCING
Body piercing does not require an appointment. The process is quick and all walk-ins are welcomed. Each piercing includes a piece of hypoallergenic stainless steel body jewelry. For cleanliness and to prevent cross contamination all piercings are done with a sterile, disposable, piercing needle. We DO NOT use a piercing gun. Feel free to call us with any questions about your body piercing ideas.

Laser tattoo removal offers a reliable solution for removing tattoos you wish you never had or parts of an old tattoo that you wish to modify. To effectively remove different color pigments, our Certified Laser Operators use a number of different lasers to selectively target a broad spectrum of tattoo ink colors.
We can remove a broad range of tattoos including: Professional or Amateur Tattoos, Cosmetic Tattoos, Traumatic Tattoos, and Medical Tattoos.

ACNE TREATMENTS
Most of us, at some point in our lives, had to deal with Acne. Many are lucky to deal with an occasional pimple or two once they leave puberty. Some of us are not so lucky. It sticks with us our whole adult lives, given medications that do more harm to our bodies then the good they are meant to do. Using our Q-Switched Nd:YAG laser, our procedure helps eliminate acne due to a decrease in oil production and pore size, as well as even skin tone. The stimulation of collagen can reduce mild acne scarring.

DENNIS GLADWELL
MASTER TATTOO ARTIST – CERTIFIED LASER TECHNICIAN
Four years of private training in Fine Arts throughout high school helped Dennis get accepted into Pratt Institute In New York. After earning an Associate’s Degree in Illustration, Dennis started tattooing in July 1993. Dennis learned to tattoo on his own before landing a job at a well known shop in the Bronx in 1996. He returned to Westchester In 1998 to start working at the location with would become Burning Phoenix Studios. Throughout his career he has won numerous awards for art design, tattoos, and appeared in many industry magazines. Dennis has also manufactured tattoo equipment and instructional videos for the next generation of tattoo artists.
BRIAN DEMAIO
MASTER BODY PIERCER – CERTIFIED LASER TECHNICIAN
Born and raised in Rockland County, NY. Brian entered the tattoo business in 1997 as a shop assistant. A year later he joined the crew of one of the tops shop in Nanuet, NY. Brian ran the front for 1 year before starting his piercing apprenticeship. After piercing in NY for 4 years, he relocated to Greensboro, NC. There he was part of busiest shop in town where he pierced, ran yearly tattoo conventions and did multiple piercing guest spots live on radio. After 2 ½ years in NC, he decided it was time to go back home and found his way to the shop that would become Burning Phoenix Studios in Yonkers. He has been at this location since 2005.
MIKE WINGATE
MASTER TATTOO ARTIST
Mike has been at this loction since 2000. He began by teaching himself how to tattoo in 1994. Over the next few years he honed his skill set and knowlegde of the industry before going to work for a shop in Dobbs Ferry, NY. A natural artist, Mike is extememly talented in all styles of tattooing.
HANK MEYERSON
MASTER TATTOO ARTIST
Hank Meyerson has been tattooing for well over two decades. He is and experienced artist and a knowledgeable background in the medical field. He can produce all styles of tattoos, but enjoys in American Traditional.
JENNA GLADWELL

Jenna has a decade long corporate background and joined the team when she helped her husband, Dennis Gladwell, rebrand his current location into Burning Phoenix Studio. She is a Certified Laser Technician, specializing in Laser skin treatments to beautify skin and help you look your best.
