Unfortunately no tattoo is painless. All tattoos hurt to some degree, but that degree really depends on the person getting it. More likely than not, you’ll just feel an annoying pain. Most people come into a tattoo thinking it is going to be the worst pain they ever felt and realize shortly after that it was not even close to what they were thinking.
Size, detail, and placement on the body are the main factors that determine cost. Please call us for pricing information or visit us to make an appointment so we can discuss your design. A deposit is required to reserve a tattoo appointment and are only refundable if you call to cancel your appointment at least 24 hours beforehand.
Your skin will most likely be red and feel like it has mild sunburn. This typically goes away after a couple of hours. At times and with certain inks, there may be mild blistering. After each treatment you will be given detailed instructions on how to care for tattoo removal.
Most clients describe the sensation from the laser tattoo removal like a rubber band snapping quickly on your skin. For client comfort, we use our state-of-the-art air-cooling system. This sub-zero skin cooling provides added comfort and protection during the procedure.
Follow-up treatments are scheduled 6 to 8 weeks apart. After each treatment the tattoo ink is gradually expelled by body’s natural filtering system. With each treatment the tattoo color will continue to fade until final results are achieved.
A typical laser tattoo removal requires 3 to 12 treatments. Amateur tattoos are easier to remove than professional, multicolor ones. Other factors that determine treatment efficacy include: age of the tattoo, tattoo colors, the type of ink used and your body’s individual response.
A laser tattoo consultation is free. During the initial consultation our Certified Laser Operators will evaluate your skin and examine your tattoo. We will discuss treatment details and answer any questions you may have. Pricing begins at $100 and increases with the size of the tattoo.
Our lasers produce a beam of light that is absorbed by particular color of the tattoo ink. The ink gets broken down into tiny particles which are gradually removed through body’s lymphatic system. The tattoo fades away between each consequent treatment.
